Local company picks up excellence in Recycling Award

This highly prestigious award was presented on the night to managing director Hugh McElvaney by the Minister of the Environment Alan Kelly.

Presenting the award Minister Kelly said " this award recognises the high levels in excellence achieved by McElvaney's while presenting top quality service to their wide customer base "

This award was recognising in particular one of the five recycling centres McElvaney’s manage in counties Cavan and Monaghan at Corranure.

The recycling centre in Corranure was commended for its design, layout, wide list of materials accepted and how the site is promoted.

Corranure recycling centre managed by McElvaney waste & recycling beat off stiff competition from other private and Co co run sites from around Ireland to win "Best bring centre of the year'.

Speaking after picking up the award Hugh McElvaney said "this award is special recognition for firstly our great staff at Corranure and all throughout the company, our successful  partnership with Cavan Co Co at Corranure and the thousands of customers who visit the centre annually" .

McElvaney waste & Recycling operate recycling centres in Corranure, Bailieborough , Ballyconnell Co Cavan and Scotch corner and Carrickmacross Co Monaghan.
