Mc Elvaney's Waste & Recycling is a family-run business established in 1985. The company provides a Waste & Recycling Service to household and commercial customers throughout the counties of Monaghan and Cavan.

We at Mc Elvaney's Waste & Recycling have a strong commitment to the principles of sustainable development. Our philosophy on household waste management may be summed up in the following

  • The delivery of a quality waste collection service, in line with the principles of sustainable development.
  • Diversion of as much waste as practicable, from landfill.
  • Fair application of the polluter pays principle.
  • Maintenance of an affordable charging system, particularly in the domestic sector.

Our focus is on waste minimisation - we advise our customers on how best to reduce waste for landfill disposal.

Our company is Fully Permitted (NWCPO: 12-06461) and Licensed (EPA W0020-02) and provides all Waste Management services throughout Co. Monaghan

  • Wheel Bin Service – Waste & Recycling collections to household & Commercial customers
  • Skip Hire– from 4 yard skips to 40 yard Roll On’s
  • Liquid Waste– Septic Tank cleaning and Drain Jettingand cleaning including drain inspection surveys
  • Recycling Centres - We operate 5 recycling centres:-
    • Scotch Corner Recycling Centre, Castleblayney on behalf of Monaghan Co. Co.
    • Carrickmacross Recycling Centre, Convent lands, CMX on behalf of Monaghan Co. Co.
    • Corranure Recycling Centre, Cavan on behalf of Cavan Co. Co.
    • Bailieborough Recycling Centre, Shercock Rd, Bailieborough on behalf of Cavan Co. Co.
    • Ballyconnell Recycling Centre, Fartrin, Ballyconnell on behalf of Cavan Co. Co.
